A Man of Hope
and Service.John Ifere — PDP Senatorial Candidate for Cross River Central

Cross River Central deserves a senator who shows up, delivers, and answers for it. Jobs that keep our young people home. Roads, water and light that work. Clinics and schools we can be proud of. Not promises — results you can point to.

His pledge to Cross River Central: human flourishing over politics, truth over tribe, substance over slogan.

The People's Legislative Agenda

Eight pillars. One promise: prosperity you can touch.

From jobs and infrastructure to education, healthcare, security, inclusion, agriculture and a working constituency office — a blueprint written for the six LGAs of Cross River Central.

Economic Prosperity & Jobs

A Youth Entrepreneurship Development Fund, MSME and rural enterprise support, tax incentives for agro-processing and rural industrial clusters — so young people work at home, not abroad.

Modern Infrastructure

Federal roads rehabilitated, rural electrification, potable water schemes, digital connectivity and federal support for rural markets.

Agriculture & Food Security

Rural farm roads, cocoa, cassava and oil palm development, livestock improvement and produce processing that turn harvests into household income.

Accountable Representation

Liaison officers in every ward, quarterly town halls across the six LGAs and a public Constituency Performance Dashboard.

A Pledge of Service

Human flourishing over politics. Truth over tribe.

Participatory governance, transparency, accountability and collaboration — legislative power turned into clean water, working clinics, good roads, real jobs and safer communities across the six LGAs of Cross River Central.

About the Candidate

From farm boy in Iyamoyong to boardrooms in Calabar — and back to the people.

Born 11 July 1981 and a native of Ugep in Yakurr LGA, John O. Ifere worked the farm and traded to see himself through school, earning a B.Sc. in Marketing from the University of Calabar and a professional certification in Transportation and Logistics.

After eight years leading third-party logistics for North-West Petroleum & Gas, he founded Peejay Shipping and Logistics Limited and PJ Homes — creating jobs, housing and opportunity. Boreholes, a renovated paediatric unit at Ugep General Hospital and skills programmes came before any campaign.

He speaks English, Lokaa and Mbembe, and first stood for office in 2023 — the same conviction that now takes him to the Senate: participatory governance, transparency, accountability and collaboration.
